As counsel at MVL, Maureen focuses on the representation of emerging growth companies on a wide range of corporate matters including day-to-day corporate governance, equity and employment issues, and venture financings - with a particular focus on venture financings.
Prior to MVL, Maureen worked as a corporate and securities associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Maureen represented private and public companies throughout their life cycle, as well as venture capital investors. Her practice included corporate formation and structuring, venture financings, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, public company disclosure requirements, and SEC compliance matters.
Maureen also previously worked as a corporate associate at DLA Piper, where she worked on a variety of U.S. and cross-border transactions. Maureen spent a year at DLA Piper as a Pro Bono Fellow, providing pro bono legal assistance to underserved communities both in the U.S. and internationally.
Maureen is a graduate of Stanford Law School and the University of Notre Dame.
Outside of the office, Maureen enjoys yoga, boating, hiking, skiing, and traveling.
